This course is 6'190 m long (par 73) a championship golf course designed by Donald Steel and inaugurated early in 1999. The fairways are rather narrow in a hilly country side. Stately trees and avenues of coconuts lend the course an immediate air maturity. Impressive natural outcrops of rocks are a distinctive feature and indeed a hazard of the course.  Golf at Nuwara Eliya

The town of Nuwara Eliya lies in the central hills of Sri Lanka , 6200 feet above sea level. The 160 km drive from Colombo is one of the most scenic in the island with wonderful views and a visual introduction to the tea country of Sri LankaThe Nuwara Eliya golf course has a interesting history. Built in 1889 this is located very centrally & just off the town center. It stretches across about 100 acres of land & was originally built amidst the tea plantations of this central highland region. This is a hill station town & the course is located at an altitude of 6000 feet.So the ball does travel faster –  . The course is a 18 hole, 6070 yard, Par 70 layout

 Royal Colombo Golf Club: The Royal Colombo Golf Club is situated within Colombo with a railway line runs through it. This was built by British during 1896 and the oldest from all. It as a Club house and the facilities such as Food, beverages, Rooms etc.

We recommend to start your game from Kandy, proceed to Nuwara Eliya and come to Colombo end with Golf, Spa and shopping before departing home.
